The Enjux Project
Restoring a typical Fouras house while respecting its heritage character and coastal location.

The project aimed to enhance the original materials and modernize the facades without altering the local architectural identity.

The objective: to create a durable, breathable, and harmonious building envelope, capable of withstanding maritime conditions while maximizing the natural light of the Charente coastline.

ABSOLIN Finish
The ABSOLIN bio-based plaster was applied to the facades to restore a soft, luminous mineral texture, true to the spirit of the houses in Fouras.

Its natural formulation allows for excellent water vapor permeability and increased resistance to sea spray, guaranteeing the building's longevity.

The light colors and matte finishes reveal the details of the stone and window and door frames, creating a subtle dialogue between tradition and modernity.
Thanks to its eco-friendly composition, ABSOLIN helps preserve heritage while ensuring that the renovation is part of a sustainable and environmentally responsible approach.
